Frequently Asked Questions
How do NFL pick'em pools work on Pickster?
Create a private pool, invite your crew, and pick every NFL game each week before kickoff. Correct picks earn points, standings update live, and winners are crowned weekly and for the season.
What is the difference between straight up and against the spread?
Straight up means you just pick the winner. Against the spread means your pick has to cover the point spread β favorites must win by more than the line, underdogs can lose by less. The pool owner picks one format per pool.
What happens on a push (tie against the spread)?
The pool owner decides when creating the pool: pushes count as a loss (default) or as a win for everyone who picked that game.
How do tiebreakers work?
Ties are broken by predicting the combined score of the last game of the week β closest guess wins. If players are still tied, the prize is split.
Does the pool continue into the playoffs?
Yes β playoff rounds run as stages in the same pool, so your season standings and your smack talk carry all the way to February.
